Bathroom Re-do

Apparently, "we've" decided to redo the bathroom. Jeff has started taking down the plaster and has 2 walls completed. We have no plan for how it is to look once completed ("we" didn't really talk about this before "we" got started on it).

Wall - notice where the tub used to sit (and the lack of insulation - no wonder it was so cold in there during the winter!!).

Other wall. Toilet is still functional (for now).

Pretty wallpaper we found hiding underneath the pretty green tile (which I did like, but is now 1/2 gone in the trash).

We now know why our windows don't stay up. They use a weight/pulley system (broken, no less). You can see the rope that used it on the left hand side of the window (also notice the broken window - it wasn't broken when we started).

The actually weights. I thought they were kind of neat looking...

Tiny green tiles that I had hoped would be underneath the white tile so that I could use them for something creative...Only 1 way to find out if they are actually under the white tiles.....

No green tiles...just white tiles glued on top of some green laminate glued to what seems like a million layers of what looks like cardboard and then pretty wooden floors (well, not so pretty right now). I did this myself!

Original wood floors.

We will keep working on it and I'll be sure to post some pictures. Hopefully it will be nice when it's all completed...not sure when that will be though!

Rain, rain, go away!

Why I don't like the rain:

Here is Emmett. He's getting big fast! Hopefully, he will be going to his forever home this weekend!!

Another Nut *clap*clap* In our hut.....

Meet Emmett - our newest foster pup. He's between 2 and 4 months old and just as sweet (and ornery) as can be! He's doing great with potty training and sleeping through the night!

Jed napping in his "bed." This is the only place he likes to sleep. He's already outgrown the one in this picture and I had to go and buy him a bigger one. I don't know what we'll do when he outgrows it, because I got the biggest one I could find!

My boys. They love the camera and will sit as soon as you get it out!

Chlo loving on her dad. Or more like Dad loving on his Chlo.

Newest Nut and other fun pictures

This is Jed, our newest foster. He was really sick when we got him last weekend, so I wasn't able to get some good pictures of him until now. He looks and acts a lot like our other foster, Gibbs.

Paco's new t-shirt - it say's "Stud Muffin" He actually enjoys wearing it and gets excited when you get it out for him to wear!

Mad viciousness. Look at those teeth! :)

Updates!

It's been a while since I posted, so here goes!

Annie-Bell Fats-A-Rella was adopted! It was very hard since we've had her since she was just a little pup, but she is in an excellent home with a new big brother (who was also a Mutts N Stuff dog a few years ago!).

This "little man" we named Peanut. He came to us with patches of hair missing from having mange and being tied up outside. He was three years old, but the same size as Annie (who was about 4 1/2 months old!). He was adopted by another member of our rescue group because she fell in love as soon as she saw him!

Me and my Paco-Waco! :)

Our first failure....

Well, it's official. After almost one year of being a foster parent, we have had our first foster failure. We have decided to make Paco a family member forever! He's such a great dog and gets along so well with everyone, that we can continue to foster without having too many issues! His name is Paco Bob Schmidt. :)

Paco...

Here is our new man, Paco (changed from Bully Bob). He is quickly getting adjusted to the house and learning the "rules." He wasn't treated right before and it shows, but he is blossoming and becoming a good house dog! He is also quite photogenic!

Warm Weather!!!!

We enjoyed an afternoon outside today and I think the dogs enjoyed it!

Paco - always smiling!

Annie lounging....it's hard to run a lot when you are a tubby girl.

Do I have anything in my nose, mom?

Da Chlo lounging...what she does best.

Quit taking my picture, mom.....

New boy in town!

Meet "Bully Bob" - the newest addition to our group. Otto was adopted this weekend, so we still only have 3 dogs!

Giving a good shake(notice Annie - she tried to get in all of the pictures).

After finishing my homework and getting the laundry and dishes started, the dogs and I had a lazy day.

Otto

Harley and Gibbs were both adopted last week. We had Harley the longest (7 months) and we had Gibbs the shortest (3 weeks).
We have now added Otto to our clan. He is super laid back and is pretty much the easiest going dog I have seen! We'll see if this changes after he gets "settled in."
