Mac

Here is our newest rescue, Mac. He was a personal rescue for me (came home from work with me one day). He had a long gash on his leg and his tummy and insides of his legs were bruised (like someone kicked him). He's our smallest dog so far, but he has a giant heart!

He sleeps through the night and loves to play! He's also doing great at going potty outside already (only about 4 1/2 months old and probably had no real "training".)

Paco playing with Mac the first night. Paco was scared at first (notice he doesn't ever touch Mac - just dances around in front of him).

Most of you already know, but Jed passed to the Rainbow Bridge recently. I wanted to post a couple of cute pictures of him in remembrance.

Pictures...

Here are some pictures of the "kids".....

Jed and Paco at Nanny's house chewing on sticks in the yard.

Handsome Jed.

Paco and Jed "sharing" their deer antler.

Cutie pie Paco!

Always a smile (even with green feet).

Paco and Chloe sleeping after a long day at Nanny's house!

This is how you give a dog a bath when you don't have a bathtub, yet she needs a bath because she got in the mud!

Obviously not thrilled about being in the kitchen sink....

Chloe after a long walk around town....the fan is on, you just can't tell.

Bathroom Re-do

Apparently, "we've" decided to redo the bathroom. Jeff has started taking down the plaster and has 2 walls completed. We have no plan for how it is to look once completed ("we" didn't really talk about this before "we" got started on it).

Wall - notice where the tub used to sit (and the lack of insulation - no wonder it was so cold in there during the winter!!).

Other wall. Toilet is still functional (for now).

Pretty wallpaper we found hiding underneath the pretty green tile (which I did like, but is now 1/2 gone in the trash).

We now know why our windows don't stay up. They use a weight/pulley system (broken, no less). You can see the rope that used it on the left hand side of the window (also notice the broken window - it wasn't broken when we started).

The actually weights. I thought they were kind of neat looking...

Tiny green tiles that I had hoped would be underneath the white tile so that I could use them for something creative...Only 1 way to find out if they are actually under the white tiles.....

No green tiles...just white tiles glued on top of some green laminate glued to what seems like a million layers of what looks like cardboard and then pretty wooden floors (well, not so pretty right now). I did this myself!

Original wood floors.

We will keep working on it and I'll be sure to post some pictures. Hopefully it will be nice when it's all completed...not sure when that will be though!

Rain, rain, go away!

Why I don't like the rain:

Here is Emmett. He's getting big fast! Hopefully, he will be going to his forever home this weekend!!

Another Nut *clap*clap* In our hut.....

Meet Emmett - our newest foster pup. He's between 2 and 4 months old and just as sweet (and ornery) as can be! He's doing great with potty training and sleeping through the night!

Jed napping in his "bed." This is the only place he likes to sleep. He's already outgrown the one in this picture and I had to go and buy him a bigger one. I don't know what we'll do when he outgrows it, because I got the biggest one I could find!

My boys. They love the camera and will sit as soon as you get it out!

Chlo loving on her dad. Or more like Dad loving on his Chlo.

Newest Nut and other fun pictures

This is Jed, our newest foster. He was really sick when we got him last weekend, so I wasn't able to get some good pictures of him until now. He looks and acts a lot like our other foster, Gibbs.

Paco's new t-shirt - it say's "Stud Muffin" He actually enjoys wearing it and gets excited when you get it out for him to wear!

Mad viciousness. Look at those teeth! :)
