New foster

Meet Julie (aka Jules). She is a 7 year old Boxer girl who was used just for breeding. So far, she's very laid back and is just busy relaxing!

Christmas Lights!

Due to the way our house sits, my grand plans of putting up Christmas lights fell through. We were only able to put lights around the porch. Thanks to my dad and husband, I now have lights!

Crazy dogs...

Chloe decided that she didn't like where the box was placed and tried to move it.

Sammy wanted to save her food for later but had to do something so that the other dogs wouldn't "find" her food....

We were finally able to go and get the couch and loveseat. Buster had to "nap test" the loveseat!

He slept in that spot for most of the evening...I think he likes it!!

Thanksgiving

So, we are having Thanksgiving dinner at our house with my family. I am very excited as I have never had a Thanksgiving dinner at my VERY own house before!

New oven that uses convection so that dinner will cook quickly...check

New fridge with plenty of space to hold things so that I can make them ahead of time...check

A place for everyone to sit....ummmm.....that would be a no.

Since our dogs (Elliott) chewed up our couch, we got a new couch and love seat. Hopefully the dogs will not destroy these (or I will be one unhappy momma!). Here is what our new set will look like:

Sleepy a.k.a. Sammy

We welcomed a new foster pup last night and her given name is Sleepy. We don't like that name, so we are going to call her Sammy. She is super sweet but VERY timid. Harley is slowly trying to get her out of her shell. Cami went to stay with Aunt Emily and Uncle Shaun because she has a little bit too much sass for the new baby.

Chloe and Elliott tried on their costumes tonight. Buster's was in the car, so he didn't get to try his on. He already entered a contest last weekend at Pitbull Awareness Day anyway (he lost, but he gave it a good try!).

Well, after a short stint away, Elliott was returned. Aggressive, he is not. Pain in the butt, yes. But, he is a BULLDOG. That's his nature. Besides...he's sweet (and kind of cute) when he's sleeping.....

Not quiet for long!

Well, I knew that our house would only have 3 dogs for a short period of time. We welcomed a new foster, Penny to our home. As you can see, she is VERY skinny, but I will have her fattened up in no time! Once she is at a good weight, she will be able to go to her forever home.

So quite....

Elliott was officially adopted today (well, he at least started his 2 week trial with his new home). Things instantly calmed down here at home, and I think that he will be spoiled like he's never been spoiled before at his new house.

So, after I dropped him off and said my good-byes, I went to the store and bought SOCKS! Yep, socks...since Elliott ate and regurgitated most of Jeff's socks. I needed some new ones too.

Chaos

6. Count them. Recount them. There are 6 dogs at my house. It's going pretty well, though. The crate was put up as an attempt to keep them out of the computer room while I worked on my homework.

Chloe does not dig. Yeah, right.

As much as I would like to be able to say my wonderful, sweet, cute dog does not dig holes, the dirt on her nose tells a different story. I couldn't get her to look right at me - she was avoiding eye contact because she knew she was in trouble.

Nothing much new here..no new dogs, just ones that are getting bigger!!
