New floors and Mac

Well, we finally did it! We bought flooring (laminate) so that we could finally rip up the yucky old carpet.

Jeff went and picked it up from Menard's this morning, but while he was gone, I started ripping up the carpet in the spare bedroom.

This is what was under the carpet - asbestos tile.

Here is the flooring - just waiting to be opened!

Here is our newest rescue, Mac. He was a personal rescue for me (came home from work with me one day). He had a long gash on his leg and his tummy and insides of his legs were bruised (like someone kicked him). He's our smallest dog so far, but he has a giant heart!

He sleeps through the night and loves to play! He's also doing great at going potty outside already (only about 4 1/2 months old and probably had no real "training".)

Most of you already know, but Jed passed to the Rainbow Bridge recently. I wanted to post a couple of cute pictures of him in remembrance.

Which pictures to send?
